We believe at the Smithton United Methodist Church that it is vitally important for us to come together in worship so that we may go out into our community to be of service and to share the love of Jesus Christ for the growth of Gods kingdom.

Prayer Team
Our prayer team comes together to pray for folks that are lifted individually as well as groups, the ministries of the church, our community, and our world.
Kids Church
Kids Church is a worship time designed for kids pre-k through grade school. Kids stay in the adult worship service to have a kids time with the pastor and then they have the option to attend a seperate kids church. Our kids instructors are all "Safe Gatherings" certified to provide a safe enviornment for them.
Music
Worship through music, poetry, drama, and dance are vitally important to growing in our relationship with God. We are always open to sharing of talents in worship. Join the choir! Play an instrument! Share a poem! Dance to the glory of God!
Community Service
The opportunity to be of service to folks in our community is a vital part of the life of the Smithton United Methodist Church. We believe that we must take the church outside the worship service and be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in our community.
Kids For Christ
Kids For Christ is our after school program. Children ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade gather after school each Thursday at the Smithton United Methodist Church to sing, make crafts, learn, and play. All the while coming to know the love of Jesus Christ.
Food Ministries
There are many opportunities to be in service to folks in the church community, and in the greater community through the sharing and breaking of bread. The Smithton UMC has a wonderful ministry of serving great meals, wonderful desserts, and great fellowship through our Coffee Corner, Worship Around the Table, and our Outdoor Food Pantry. Join in!!!
